Role in ShieldHealthAdria
Combis is the project's technology and implementation partner, leading three of six work packages: baseline assessment (WP2), pilot deployment and validation (WP4), and capacity building (WP5). It assesses the cybersecurity posture of the eleven hospitals, deploys and validates security solutions in live environments, and trains more than 1,000 healthcare professionals. The goal is security that stays in the system after the project ends.
Key contribution
Combis turns the project's assessments and blueprints into operational reality: it is responsible for the hands-on deployment, validation and continuous monitoring of security solutions in all 11 hospitals, and for building the human capacity that keeps them working. It also provides externalised CISO support for selected Croatian hospitals throughout the project. The goal is not a one-off upgrade but security that stays in the system after the project ends.
